The digital India has come up with a new plan of distributing laptops to the needy. The wide spread of the deadly virus is forced the schools and colleges to start online classes. The online class stays a dream for students from financially backward families.
The state government in collaboration with the central government have decided to issue laptops to people by collecting ₹500 per month. Laptop worth ₹15000 will be issued through this scheme. As a first step of the scheme the government have selected 200000 people.
About the programme in:This programmme is conducted by our state in collaboration with Kudumbashree and KSFE.The programme is know as Laptop Chitty Kudumbashree units are in charge of collecting application from the eligible candidates and distributing the laptop.Donation are accepted by the government towards this scheme.
Conditions:If there is a need for a student to attend online class and the family has no laptop. He/she is eligible to apply for this.Monthly install of ₹500 for 30 months If the installments are regularly paid, after every 10th payments the next one installment is borne by KSFE ie KSFE will pay ₹ 1500 in total.For more details.Please watch this video
